Culver City High School Students. Here are their FINAL LOOKS!!

Well a long hard ride is coming to a close. Our final session of the Make Something collaboration with MoCA, The Seventh Letter and the wonderful art students at Culver City High School is tomorrow. In honor of this we decided to post a photo of all the fantastic looks and products our students have designed over the last three months. This is a sad day for us as we’ll miss everyone terribly, but as you can see here we made a ton of amazing stuff!! Special thanks to Fabrizio Flores at MoCA, Kristine Hatanka (our wonderful teacher at Culver), Casey from Seventh Letter, all of the fabulous guest teachers that came in (Paul from Stussy, Megan from Girl, etc etc) and most of all thank you to our students!!! You guys really brought it!!!!

Make Something!! x EDUN x Selfridges – DAY FIVE: Window Installation Elements!!!

Wow was our final day nuts!! Everyone came together using all of the elements from the previous classes, the wolves, the masks, the posters and we finally figured out just what this window is going to look like. The primary elements we worked on today were the walls of the cave. Using a combination of fabric collage and painted paper our students really pulled it off. Next step is the final window…it’s being installed in just a few days!!!

Thanks Everyone!!!

Make Something!! x EDUN x Selfridges – DAY FOUR: PUNK Burlesque Poster Design! WITH GUEST TEACHER LIZ GOLDWYN!!

Our fourth day of workshops was guest-taught by none other than Liz Goldwyn! The theme of the day was making cut-and-paste posters based on vintage burlesque images from Liz’s huge archive. Students then were asked to create slogans on all their collages using “ransom note” style lettering. The posters will end up in the Selfridges windows as decorations on the inside of the cave.
