Our second workshop at Selfridges went off great with everyone working on faces to attach to the mannequins. Each face is based on a different “bad kid” personality, which will be revealed to everyone very soon. They all came out fantastic!!!

Our first class started off amazing with students going over the general themes of the Selfridges window display. We developed a concept based on themes of FEELINGS, STORIES, and MATERIALS. The window is going to be a “punk rock” inspired cave full of bad kids and wolves! We’re all very excited about what’s about to come!!

Make Something!! has gotten together with MoCA and the Seventh Letter Crew to host a series of classes at Culver City High School in Los Angeles! The class has split up into groups and each group will be creating their own streetwear brand. To make it even better each “brand” has set up their own blog, so you can watch their progress live!! Here are the links: DASBIEST , OMNI, FULANO, INRSHA TRIP6. Also check back here for updates!!

The other night we held the final workshop of the Greet Patriot poster project. As you can see everyone had a great time and the posters are awesome!!

Last weekend we held two workshops in Los Angeles presented in conjunction with Green Patriot and the Human Impacts Institute. Led by designers Tara DePorte and Steven Harrington, the program taught local high school students about sustainability then challenged them to design posters that engage the public. As you can see from these photos some incredible things were created! Stay tuned for next weekend’s silkscreen workshop to see the final posters!!

The last workshop of our EDUN/Make Something!! Paris workshop series was Look Book Creation, which was taught by guest teacher Ed Brachfeld, of Brachfeld Paris. Utilizing the images the students created during the Photography workshop with Katerina Jebb, Ed and the students laid out and set for printing the official look book of the Make Something!!/EDUN Special Edition jewelry set.
